Today Atlantic City is a Casino town, second only to Las Vegas. Atlantic City is a shell of
what it was in the 30s, 40s & 50s. Those are the years I remember Atlantic City.

Many talented photographers, including Mike Blizzard, Al Gold and Fred Hess, have
photographed Atlantic City. Those pictures are still available for viewing today.
Most of my pictures taken during the 1940s and 1950s are now gone but a few survived.
The ones that survived are presented in this photographic essay.

My wife and I visit Atlantic City at least once a month and my digital camera is always
busy. So I am happy to present pictures of the past and many pictures of Atlantic City today.
